Calibrating the Brain

we all love to dream big,
we all love to dream that we can always get what we want,
in our dreams, we are invincible, simple as that,
no one can defeat the power to dream but the dream itself,
but in order to dream you would have to be asleep,
and how can you sleep when you always have unwanted memeries
that eventually wont let you sleep, they are parasites that dont leave the skin,
like leaches conquoring any body that ever comes through its path,
and even if the path is empty for you to walk in,
you would never have something that easy, the smallest thing
that you ever wanted has cost you a lot more that it ever needed,
so why is that we still dream big,
why cant we comform to a surtain standard of living,
why do we always have to be better, if better means competion,
and we all know that competition always leads to a fight,
and eventually the fight will continue with no purpose at all,

while the fight continues, i sit and i wonder,
i wonder why animals never act like human beings,
even though animals arent close to humans, its
been known that animals can take care of the world
themselves rather than destroy it,
we are the animals,
we became what we wanted,
and we forgot what we were,
and ever since i was brought to this world,
i wanted more, more that i could ever imagine,
i wanted the world to be mine,
but i wanted to have everything else that was on its path,
but the consequences that came with it destroyed the dream itself,
and i fought back,
but when i fought back, the whole world
came onto my shoulders,
like the man holding the globe,
i became nothing more than a slave to earth,
and that same slave that holds the golve is you,
its me,
and its us.

A Thoughtful Process of the Word "More"

I have always wonder how would the world be if the word, "more" did not exist. Would we cherish what we have now and believe that its best for us to stay that way? or would we always have human nature and a selfish mentality to control and think that we should all be better than our next door neighbor, or a family from a third world country like Africa. Until what point should we all say that we have enough in our lives? Well, until that point comes, we will struggle to maintain ourselves and our lives. People like you and I do not cherish everything we have. If you believe you cherish each and everything in your life, tell me why do you always try better than someone else, why do you eat more than you need to, why do you utilize every resource that is given to you and exploit it like any other defenseless country. Its hard to tackle a bull when you do not have the strength, but yet you try it either way because you want to prove a point. You want to prove you are better. My high school teacher always told me to try my best to get great grades in school. I was an average student with at 2.5-2.7 GPA. At times i believed she took it to far when she once told be i had more capability than a student called blank. This is not about competition, if our schools encourage us to be selfish and self encouraged by someone else's failure, how would this world turn out to be?

Beauty Through My Eyes

I always wanted to write a poem about nothing,
but i figured it was too hards since "nothing" to me,
could be something to someone else, so i rather
make a  poem about something.

Something so beautiful can be seen in everyones eye,
everyone loves to see beauty, but when i say beauty,
i dont mean beauty as in a physical form of a woman.
beauty can be expressed in so may different ways.
a flower is beautiful, giving it a gentle touch to see
and feel how soft the texture is, the color that might
brighten your day, the smell that can sometimes make
you wonder. a field of flowers that make you think
the inimaginable, the sound of a flock of birds circling
the area as if you were in their territory. a land yet
not taken by the englishman, a free land where someone
can yet do what they please. a place that excists,
but not only in our dreams but its a place that we can
feel, a place where we can think, a place that is not
corrupt yet.

something has never felt so free.
